Recreation Leaders

The City is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Recreation Leader (Teacher) within the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Candidates must be a US citizen, at least 18 years old, must be at least 18 years of age: possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with school-age children and group management preferred.
The job will entail assistance in developing on-going program activities, supervise activities, assist with development of monthly calendar of events, requisition and maintain necessary supplies, maintain positive contact and communication with staff, school district personnel, parents and children and other duties as assigned by the Recreation Coordinator.

This is a part-time position(20-25 hrs. wk) Mon-Fri, late afternoon shifts.

Compensation will be $7.50-$10.00 per hour.

Gymnastic/Dance Instructors

The Parks and Recreation Department is on the look-out for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals for gymnastic and dance programs.

Applicant must be 17 years old or older and have previous gymnastic or dance experience.
